NEW – RNA Science in Industry session at RNA 2026

“RNA Technologies in Biotech and Industry: Innovations and Applications”

This first-ever dedicated session at RNA 2026 will feature oral presentations showcasing RNA research in the development of therapeutics, technologies, and translational strategies from biotech and pharmaceutical industry scientists.

Who should submit an abstract?

  • Industry scientists developing RNA-based therapeutics (e.g. mRNA vaccines, siRNA, ASOs, aptamers, etc.)
  • Biotech entrepreneurs building RNA technology platforms
  • Translational researchers bridging academic discoveries with clinical applications
  • Regulatory and clinical development experts navigating RNA therapeutic pathways
  • Academic-industry collaborators showcasing successful partnerships
  • Anyone interested in presenting real-world challenges in advancing RNA applications and medicine

What will you gain from attending this session?

✓ Discover industry best practices for advancing RNA therapeutics from discovery to clinic
✓ Expand your network with biotech/pharma researchers and potential collaborators
✓ Gain insights into emerging RNA modalities, delivery technologies, and manufacturing approaches
✓ Identify partnership opportunities to accelerate translation of your academic research
✓ Explore career paths at the interface of academia and industry

Abstracts from the following research areas are encouraged:

  • mRNA therapeutics and vaccines – lessons from recent pre-clinical and clinical successes
  • RNA delivery technologies – LNPs, conjugates, and next-generation platforms
  • Oligonucleotide drugs – ASOs, siRNA, miRNA, and splice-switching therapeutics
  • RNA editing and base editing – from tool development to therapeutic applications
  • Manufacturing and scale-up – Manufacturing challenges for RNA drugs
  • Regulatory considerations – navigating approval pathways
  • Academic-industry partnerships – models for successful collaboration
  • Emerging RNA modalities – circular RNAs, self-amplifying RNAs, and beyond

Presentations must focus on research findings; product promotion or sales is prohibited. For meeting sponsorship and vendor opportunities, please contact Gianpiero Di Leva (bd@nullrnasociety.org) and visit the RNA 2026 website here.
