Apply for support. The RNA Society Research Presentation Fellowship Program aims to increase inclusion and participation at our annual meeting and provides meeting registration waivers for researchers who would otherwise be unable to attend RNA 2023 due to financial considerations.
Apply for support. The RNA society will award up to 15 Childcare, Dependent-Care and Disability Allowances for member undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members.
All RNA 2023 attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in any meeting event. RNA 2023 registrants must attest to their vaccination status to complete registration; acceptable vaccines are those listed by the World Health Organization (see complete list here). Please note that full proof of vaccination in the form of an electronic copy of a vaccination card is not required for RNA 2023 registration; however, it is required to enter Singapore and must be provided when completing a Singapore Arrival Card and Health Declaration – see https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore and https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/)
RNA 2023 will be held at the Suntec Convention Center in downtown Singapore, which is an open facility and accessible to the public. Meeting spaces will not accommodate 3 feet social distancing, and while masking is encouraged, any requirement for masking will be as per Suntec and/or Singapore government policy. These policies are subject to change in response to facility, local, and state COVID-19 requirements at the time of RNA 2023.
Additional local information can be found here: https://www.stb.gov.sg/content/stb/en/home-pages/advisory-on-covid-19.html
Society members or researchers who cannot or will not attend RNA 2023 in person under this policy will have the opportunity to access the entire RNA 2023 scientific meeting content scientific on-line through the RNA 2023 Digital Content Library (available subsequent to the in-person meeting).
RNA 2023 will feature a ‘Meet the RNA Editors’ luncheon, where participants can meet face-to-face with the Editors of RNA, the flagship journal of the RNA Society, to discuss their research and how it is best featured in RNA. As a participant, you will learn of the unique advantages of publishing in RNA, including an editorial process actively led by prominent RNA researchers who focus on important aspects of your paper and attempt to minimize the requirement for non-essential experimental revisions. You will also learn how RNA and the RNA Society actively promote you and your published work throughout the RNA community. Researchers at all stages of their careers are encouraged to attend. Mark ‘yes’ to this question on the registration form if you plan to attend.
