RNA 2015 Speaker Information
Oral presenters refer to your acceptance email for the length of your talk. Presentations vary in length from 5 to 10 minutes with 2 or 3 minutes for questions. Practice your talk in advance to ensure that you stay within your allotted time.
PC laptops running on Windows 7 with PowerPoint 2010 and MacBooks with Keynote 6 and PowerPoint Mac 2011 will be provided in the session rooms. Files should be saved on a USB flash memory drive to be loaded onto the computers provided. Slide size 1280 x 720, which corresponds to a 16:9 aspect ratio. Embedded video can be no larger than 1280 x 720.
Speakers can load slides onto the presentation laptop in their assigned room any time that the room is open and a session is not in process. This includes before sessions start, during breaks and during lunch. Speakers who are presenting in the next scheduled session will have priority.
All speakers must have loaded their slides a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of their session. The conference schedule does not allow time during the sessions to switch laptops, therefore speakers may not use their own laptops and must use the equipment provided. Staff will be available to assist speakers with loading their files onto the laptops.
