RNA 2017 Poster Information

Posters will be located in Forum Hall on floor 2 of the Congress Centre, with sufficient space for all posters to be displayed together from Wednesday through Friday.

Presentations will be divided equally into 2 sessions: even numbers on Wednesday night and odd numbers on Friday night, from 20:30 to 23:00. Forum Hall will also be open for informal viewing during conference hours on Thursday and Friday.

Presenters may hang posters starting Wednesday afternoon and all posters (even and odd) should be in place by 20:00 on Wednesday.

Posters must be removed on Friday night at the end of the session. Any posters left behind will be destroyed when boards are removed on Saturday morning.

Poster boards will be vertical. Poster size must fit within the frame of the board — maximum poster width is 97 cm (~38 inches). Maximum poster height is 180 cm (~70 inches). Ideally posters should be shorter than the full height of the board for easy readability.

Boards will be numbered in advance and mounting pins will be provided.

Copy General (website: http://www.copygeneral.eu/) has the capability to print posters. They have several locations in Prague – closest to the congress center is Londýnská 57 11 120 00 Prague 2. Please contact them directly for more information.

RNA 2017 Speaker Information

Oral presenters refer to the “Details about your talk” email sent on April 2 to know the precise length of your talk. Practice in advance to ensure that you stay within your allotted time.

PC laptops (Windows 10) and MacBooks (OS X 10.8) with PowerPoint 2013 will be provided in the session rooms. Files should be saved on a USB flash memory drive to be loaded onto the computers provided. Projection resolution is 1280 x 720, which corresponds to a 16:9 aspect ratio. Embedded video can be no larger than 1080p.

Speakers can load slides onto the presentation laptop in their assigned room any time that the room is open and a session is not in process. This includes immediately before and after sessions, during breaks and during lunch. Speakers who are presenting in the next scheduled session will have priority.

All speakers must have loaded their slides a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of their session. The conference schedule does not allow time during the sessions to switch laptops, therefore speakers may not use their own laptops and must use the equipment provided. Staff will be available to assist speakers with loading their files onto the laptops.
