Getting to Colorado by Air
Boulder is served by Denver International Airport DEN which connects from nearly every major airport in the world.  The airport is located about 45 miles from Boulder.

Ground Transportation
To/From the Denver airport to Boulder
Ground transportation to Boulder is available in a number of ways.

  • Bus service/rail via Denver’s Regional Transportation Service RTD.  The SkyRide Bus AB/AB1 bus runs directly to Boulder from DEN, bypassing downtown Denver for $10.50 (current price, subject to change).
  • Shuttle service Green Ride Boulder costs approximately $39 per person for the first passenger to the Boulder hub at the Millennium Hotel.
  • Private rental cars.  If you do plan to rent a car, campus parking information can be found at CU Boulder Parking
  • Rideshare programs such as Uber or Lyft, with varying prices – get an Uber estimate at Uber Estimate

Getting around in Boulder
The bus service in Boulder is an convenient way to get around between the campus, the downtown area and the Hilton Garden Inn/Embassy Suites Hotel, where the Saturday night closing reception will be held. Current cost for a day pass is $6.00 or purchase a 10-ride ticket book for $28.

Walking distance between the campus student union (University Memorial Center/UMC) where the meeting will be headquartered, and the hotels where the Saturday evening event will be held, is approximately 1.3 miles/30 minutes walking.

Campus Parking
Parking on campus is available for fee which can be paid via the ParkMobile app which allows you to pay for parking in short term parking areas by phone or smartphone app. To begin using this service, create an account with ParkMobile today. Parking Services emails notifications when a ParkMobile pay lot is closed for event or construction impacts.
