Kraków
By plane
The International Kraków Airport (KRK – John Paul II, in Balice) is situated approximately 11 km from the city center. The network of airline routes from the Kraków Airport includes most European capitals and the largest airline hubs.
Special Kraków Airport cabs can be found outside the arrival area. The trip to the city center will take 20 – 30 minutes and will cost 90 PLN. You are also welcome to order a cab from your favorite company.

By train
The Main Railway Station (Kraków Główny) is conveniently situated in the northern part of the Old Town. The city has direct train connections with most of cities in Poland. There are also convenient direct railway connections with cities in Germany, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic.
There are several daily fast train connections with Warsaw (the capital city of Poland). The journey takes a little over 2 hours.
If you want to take a cab from the Kraków Main Railway Station to your hotel please take an elevator from the platform where your train arrived (Level 0) to Level 1 (Parking) where you will see cabs waiting for passengers. You can also use a smartphone app to order a cab from a company of your choice. The main hall of the station with box offices, shops, etc. is located at the level -1. You can use stairs to go there from each platform or you can use elevators.
By bus
The main bus station is situated next to the Main Railway Station (Kraków Główny). Popular international connections to and from Kraków are: Berlin, Budapest, Prague and Vienna.
By car
Many national roads intersect in Kraków, among others the A4 highway that runs directly from the German border.
Taxi service in the city
There are several taxi companies operating in Kraków. They are easy to find within the city. You can find cabs standing outside the Kraków airport and at the Kraków Main Railway Station. To order a cab from any location you can use smartphone applications.
